I am off to my first AA Convention tomorrow and I'm feeling really excited about it. My home group is in charge of organising the tea and coffee. It's just going to be so good to spend a whole day with other alcoholics and see people that I haven't seen for a while and to make new friends. Getting involved with the Convention has made me feel much more a part of AA. It's great!
I am so truly grateful to AA for giving me a whole new way of life. AA hasn't given me my old life back (thank heavens!). It has given me something far more precious and special.
Today, I can honestly say that I am glad that I'm an alcoholic. Life is feeling really good.
Have a great and sober weekend, everyone.
Take care,
Carol

Hey Carol, that's cool! All those speakers to hear, lucky you! Enjoy, it's been years since I've been to a convention. Let us know how it goes and what you think!
Uh, Phil? Haven't had your cereal yet this morning?
