Well, ya'll, this Bubetta goes back to work tomorrow at 4am after being out on medical leave for 3 months. I'm terrified. I have a new Boss that I've never met. I hope my ID badge will let me in the door. I hope someone is on call for TSG at 4am cause all my security codes have to be reset. That is if I can even remember how to run the computer! I'm really nervous about this. I know it will be OK, but still scared. I'm sure by 6am it'll be old hat again. I tried to go to bed and tossed and turned so here I am. Sharing my fear............Thanks all.
Ya'll have a grateful sober Monday.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... It's about learning to dance in the rain.
Electricity out..computers down..no need for security badge to get thru door..Infiltration will be much easier.. Exelent. heheh No seriously. taken years for me to get used to roofing. I dont see a big job or a small job, just one thing after another after another till I find myself putting the last nail in. No big deal. But I get off for a while, wich hasn't happened in two years, and it seems like boot camp or something, seeing the whole big roof again instead of that one thing at a time. Your seeing that whole roof and it's overwhelming. 3 months is a while. You'll get back into the routine.
I know what this kind of anxiety feels like. It will be OK. Set the alarm on your celphone, if you have one.
At times when I have a ton of 'what if's" going round and round, I need to get on my knees and start praying for other people until I pass out. Literally. That "Full Tilt Whirl" carnival ride sucks. It takes a lot of work and prayer to get off it sometimes, but it DOES WORK. Sounds like it is time to get out the 'late-night tool kit".
I am with you in prayer, and I just KNOW you will be sharing with us tomorrow (sfter you've gotten some sleep) that you managed OK, and you did not spontaneously combust.
With much love and peaceful thoughts coming your way,
Everything is going to work out EXACTLY as it should! You have to trust in this. You may be a little nervous when you get to work, but in short time you're going to say to yourself: "I'm here. I'm sober now. I know what my job entails and I'm going to be the very best at it." And you know what?...If you put your mind to it, you will be. Enjoy, have fun...Tim

I hope you're work week is going great. Nervousness and anxiety are something I can relate to. I'm out of work and scared to even go on a job interview. I asked my friend to come out to dinner with me tonight and now I'm afaid of having a panic attack at the restaurant!!! I sure you being at work will take a lot off your mind.
