Ok. this is a Trivia Post.

have spent the week, looking into getting a little dog, had a lot of research to do, and did it, and then I came back to square one.

So, here is my choice, he is only 3 weeks old in this picture, I will not get him until mid October. But want to show you all the new little Love of my Life.

His name is NeNe...(Short for Nepoleon) haha

A gorgeous little pup!  What flavor is he/she?  We have a pomeranian mix and think the other flavor might be miniature collie.  She's just a little bigger than our (4) cats and as loveable as any dog could be.  They really are the most faithful companions.  They forgive your transgressions even if you don't and they're always happy to see you.  I'm sure you'll enjoy having this little member of the family in your life.  Congratulations!...Tim

Hi Tim,

He is an English Toy Spaniel, who will not get to be more than 10 lbs. max.  Doing all the prep work for the new little joy, like getting wires off floor, will be spending all my extra money on little things he will hopefully want to play with, and chew, sparing my furniture, haha.

Even have to get a small crib, haha, that one makes me laugh, real Mommy stuff again.

Well they say we can have a second childhood, i guess this is a second Mommyhood.  looking so so forward to having him here, has made such a difference on the inside, already.

Lost my Persian kitty of 16 years, last November, and do feel this Big ole Void, with the absense of a little furry love around.

I am sure I will be sending more Pics, when he is here,  even if they start deleting them,  haha, I know, I know, this is not a doggy website, but whatever helps us in "Getting through the night" right?

We have not meet yet Tim, and wanted to say a very belated Welcome to you.

Toni

There really should't be a lot of prep work.  Just get ready to give and receive lots of love and affection.  10 lbs.  Just be careful not to step on him in the middle of the night and break him!  Small dogs like that are super!  Ours is about 15 lbs. and uses the cat doors I installed in the house.  One door goes into the garage and the other from the garage to the fenced-in yard.  If you have a home and fenced yard you may want to consider this so you don't have to constantly let him in and out to potty.  We just close the outside-access door at night.

Sorry to hear about your cat.  One does get attached to these critters and they do become substitute children in an "empty nest".

Thank you again for the warm welcome and I hope to be around for a long time to come!...Tim

Yay!!

I am so excited for you, and even moreso for the little bundle you are welcoming into your home. You are going to be the best puppy-mommy ever, Toni!!!

And AA site or not, our animals are a very wonderful part of our recoveries, eh?? Don't know what I'd do without my little Scouty... I showed her NeNe's picture and she'd like to say she is overjoyed for you, too!!

Love, Joni
