Morning Prayer (Humour)

Dear Lord, so far today I am doing all right.

I have not gossiped, lost my temper, been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish or self indulgent. I have not bitched, whined, cursed or eaten any chocolate.

I haven't even charged on my credit card.

However, I will be getting out of bed in a few moments and I will need a lot more help after that.

Amen

Good one! I'm safe on the first paragraph, but, I'm on my way to a huge quilt show in Seattle this morning, so I'm afraid that by the end of today?

"I haven't even charged on my credit card."

that statement will most assuredly not hold true, LOL. I have visions of fabrics dancing in my head...........................Have a wonderful weekend! Love Wren

ps: Hey, Toni, bet Sophie won't ask where I've been or what I charged!!!!

Oh, Joni heavens no, not to buy, LOL. Fabrics to make quilts. They'll be in abundance, where I can get fat quarters and hard to find fabric on big sale there today, plus seeing quilts from as far away as Alaska nd the Yukon clear down California way. It's the big Northwest Expo.  My passion is turning into Landscape quilting. I just love looking at others' work and getting inspiration. I've quilts here made by the Amish, just beautiful. Ha! I even made my kitty a little quilt for her chair. Now she won't sit in it. But, makes the chair look nice. LOL...

Wren, what a wonderful hobby you have. I am a canvas-painter, and you have just sparked an idea for me to paint a 'canvas-quilt'!!

I have visions and am going to start now!! I will divide a HUGE canvas into sections, and paint some of the blocks with different patterns, textured paints, etc... then in other blocks I will get fabrics and mount them in... wow!!! How wonderful!! Thanks for the inspiration today!!! Let me know how your quilt goes!!!

Thanks Q, that brought a smile to my face!

Wren and Joni your creativity is inspiring me.  I used to love doing creative things but I've lost it somewhere along the way.

Problem for me is that my passion for doing is so much stronger than my talent!  Ha!!  Lucky for me I think that imperfections add character.
