So how many active members on this site, Have been here for a couple of weeks and see the same10-15 people not a bad thing and have enjoyed reading their post and getting to know them. I am a social person and enjoy chatting and am working on my Drinking Problem. AA meeting last week and another one tomorrow, still feeling my way around. but know I have a problem, Please give me time to get to know you all and for you to get to know me and support me in what I am trying to do which is to become a better person, grandfather, and husband to a wonderful non drinking wife.
After reading your post Perry that's what I was gonna write. How true it is.
Upon entering AA life was unmanagable for me. After some time in the fellowship and working the steps with my sponsor life is becoming more managable! Never thought that would happen. Keep coming back and let us know how your aa experience is going. Take care friend.
Hi Perry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seeing you post a topic tonight is the icing on the cake of another good day sober!!..... Crazy, it was, but good!!!
So So Glad you are here. Yes, I am looking forward to getting to know you too!!
I hope you are seeing that this is not a 'cult' (LOL) or a bunch of whackos (well, sometimes...), but just a group of people trying to help eachother. I have made many friends here and am so grateful for it.
Sincerely, welcome back. I'm glad to see you here and so incredibly happy that you have decided you want help. I too have been going back to meeting after a little hiatus and I feel incredible. I feel I belong and cared for and supported.
Keep coming back. It is good to see you here.
With warmth/Jo-Anne

It's really good to see you posting here again. It was good to read that you went to an AA meeting last week and that you're going again today. Although I check in to this wonderful board every day, it's just not the same as a face to face meeting.
I often look back on how my life was before I came back to AA and how it is now. Even in nine months the difference is unbelievable. I have so much gratitude for AA and for everybody that I know through the fellowship.
Keep coming back and keep posting, won't you? It's good to see you here.
Take care,
Carol

Good to see you, and know that you are here with us, this Board is a great asset in my Recovery process, and am looking forward to getting to know you too. It is a "WE" Program, that's the best part to me.
We all walk in with a "problem", and find the relief of..... There is a Solution, after all. Kindness, loving and caring support, without judgement, is where it begins.
