Hi,

I posted this on alanon or some of it and I wanted to post it here to help keep on my recovery.

I could of missed the pain but I would of missed the dance.I loved you and I never stop loveing you.The day I left I knew it was about loveing you and praying you reach out for help and get sober you did.

We tried the phone call thing letters harasement on both sides.

You met someone in Aa but we both did the dance of the calls the lettter the emails .One day someone said to me would you do any thing to hurt his recovery and I said no and I was able to let go of you than .No more contact.

I am so thankful I loved you I am thankful for all the pain and drama it landed me in alanon.I learned how to get real and learning who I am and becomeing her.It is helping me face the demons and not run so thank you for being a part of my life and do I still love you yes I am just learning to love me.

sometimes walking away is the most loveing thing you can do.

OUCH!!!!

You struck an old nerve there....

Glad you are getting some acceptance with this, and hope it becomes just a fond memory and learning experience and no longer painful.... soon!!

Hi Dori,

I'm glad you have Alanon and this board. Anything that helps deal with life is a blessing.

Hi Dori,

I agree PAIN is the Greatest Teacher. I love the Buddist saying of:

PAIN is a given.........SUFFERING........is Optional.

Hugs, Toni
