hungry angry lonely tired, i know what to do!

eat happily with friends in bed - why is it that sounded rude?

im ok - just come back from a step meeting, feeling ok, bit annoyed with my partner - i have started to get my life back and she dont like that as it involves me getting my arse off the sofa and doing something which means i see less of her. i have spent enough time on my arse ans im happy when im active, thing is she does what she wants when she wants and when she is home she expects me to drop everything, trying to sort but i seem to get no joy

I like the step meetings. Last Friday we did the 3rd step and it was one of the best meetings I've been to in a while! Oh, that's probably because I've been chairing it these past two weeks! Not really, but it was awesome. I kind of implemented my will and made a suggestion three weeks ago that this meeting and it's format are screwed up! When they asked for announcements I said my name and said I would like to suggest that we follow the steps in order and on the last Friday that we do the tradition that coincides with the month. And the weird thing was that it got unanimous approval! So I've been chairing it just to keep it together for a month or so. Ummmmmm, yeah I like step meetings! Kind of got off track there. Step meetings and Big Book Studies are the best! Gotta keep learning!

Glad to hear you are doing alright Rob. Try not to spill any crackers in bed, makes sleeping uncomfortable! Hahahaha! Have a good one!

Hi Robert,

It took me and my partner a little while to settle into the pattern of me going to AA meetings and working the steps. One evening, I got him to 'phone Al-Anon and he felt so much better for having chatted about it to someone who could understand how he felt. It does take time for any adjustment in any relationship.

But, if he dares to eat popadoms or prawn crackers in bed .......

Take care and have a good day,

Carol
