Things to be grateful for:

I can remember what I did yesterday!

I'm not in a room with one door and a lock that I don't have a key to!

I make it to work on time everyday and I'm not in jeopardy of getting fired!

My family actually likes having me around!

Haven't worn those silver bracelets recently!

I can actually answer the phone without any fear!

No more foxhole prayers!

My pets don't run from me!

People actually like me!

I can be comfortable being myself today!

My computer works and I have internet!

I can tell bill colectors to f*** off today!

Don't know where that one came from!

I can be a friend to others without expectations of getting something out of them!

I have a faith in a Higher Power who I pray to daily!

Are these extravagant gratitudes? I think not!

Feel free to add to the list and have a great night/day!

Hi justin,

My favorite that I put on the top of every gratitude list, is the Gratitude for being alive.

Yay!!! I LOVE gratitude lists!!

Thanks Justin!!

My additions:

I have a wonderful sponsee.

I have a wonderful peace and serenity.

I am never angry anymore for longer than it takes to inventory it.

I do not have the urge to drink or use drugs hardly EVER any more.

My basement is dry tonight.

My home is clean tonight, because I wasn't out drinking/drugging.

There has never been alcohol/drug consumption in my current house for as long as we've lived here. (It is my sanctuary!!)

I have a nice hot bath running, because I know how to treat myself, today!!

My tummy no longer hurts, for the moment.

I get to chat with other recovering people like all of you, whenever I like!!

God is GOOD, ALL THE TIME!!!

I enjoyed 17 months of continuous sobriety on July 1st.

I am gratefully working on another 4th Step tonight... because I know how good it feels for me to do!!!!!!!!!
