my name is andrew and i am going to the hilton hotel on the island of the maldives on the 18th of november 2006. it would be great if there was a member staying there for that two week period. please let me know if there is any body staying there as there are no meetings on the island
Yeah, wish I was going to an island in November.....right now my greatest aspiration for island hopping is making it to Vancouver, LOL.
If you have a laptop? Take it and stay in touch here if there isn't anybody in the program available when you go. We have online meetings on Tues. and Sat. nights. 9 EST. which would make it, what, like, 3 p.m. island time? But during the days and late evenings, people are usually off and on this forum, so it is one way to stay in touch while youre gone. Glad you're here, keep posting! Wren

i will have access to computer on the island, but i still hope i will meet someone there i can talk to as i can talk to that person at any time of the day. I'm only in early recovery and yet i'm positive that nothing should go wrong, but as we know, its only one day at the time and today is a good day. I hope yours is too. I'm very greatfull for all your help. i will stay in touch.
when someone is anywhere where they need to talk to another member, such as an Airport, they pick up the Pager, and have A friend of Bill W. paged. It usually works, so you could try that also at Hotel. just a thought, and if you don't have a laptop, maybe the Hotel would have a Public Computer. some do. and I wish you luck finding a contact, and hope you have a great great Trip.
