And acceptance is the answer to all your problems today. When you are disturbed, it is because you find some person, place, thing or situation -- some fact of your life -- unacceptable to you, and you can find no serenity until you accept that person, place, thing or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment.

Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. Until you could accept your alcoholism, you could not stay sober; unless you accept life completely on life's terms, you cannot be happy. You need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in you and in your attitudes.

Yep.  Accept that I am responsible only for me and my own thoughts and actions.  Accept that I what others think or say about me does not affect who I am, and should not affect how I act/react.
