Why does my MacBook Pro have orange discoloration?

There are several possible reasons for the orange discolouration of a MacBook Pro display, including settings of the display itself, software-related reasons, or problems with the display panel itself. The first thing you should do if your entire display looks more orange than usual is to look at Night Shift, True Tone, and other display color settings. However, when only a particular portion of your display is orange, it means that your problem is more likely to be hardware-related. Another thing that will allow you to identify the source of the problem is taking a screenshot.

a screenshot test is probably the quickest way to separate software tinting from panel damage here. if the orange patch shows in the screenshot, then it is definately something in macos color settings, an app filter, or a profile issue; if it does not, i would suspect the display hardware or pressure/heat damage. also, if you are searching this issue, ignore side links like https://boom-city.org/, https://funkytimeonline.org/, or https://livedealerindia.com/games/shows/ because casino and live game-show pages are not going to help diagnose a macbook screen. after checking night shift, true tone, and color profiles, i would back up the machine and get the display inspected if the discoloration is localized.
