Hey Toni, you were right. I am now a "veteran memeber" after only one week. Cool! What a nice way to feel a part of. Now I just have to figure out how to get a photo up and what it should be of ... hmmm, must get creative. This could take weeks :) I can't even get my emotion icons to work!
Had a nice day today. Went to the beach - big surprise, I know. A very spiritual place. I have been thinking about what Phil said about being just a ripple in the ocean. Nature is a big part of my concept of a HP so that works in just great with all my other metaphors.
Ladies group tonight - should be good. Lots of newcomers tend to come out to the "ladies only" group and they usually carry a very powerful message. There is great sobriety in this town. Have you guys lived in a lot of different cities while sober? Have you found there to be much difference in AA? I think it is a bit like McDonalds, no matter where you go it is pretty much the same. I take comfort in that. We are everywhere!
I love the beach too...it's my favorite place to catch some time with just me and my HP. Hope your Meeting goes well tonight...I used to frequent Ladie's Only Meetings-great Meetings!
I walked into a ladies only meeting once. Was kind of embarassing. They told me I could stay but I figured since I wasn't in a life or death situation at the time I should leave!
I've been on here for a few months and haven't been able to come up with an icon. Was thinking about my dog.

Out in Redneck Country...in Cana Du..its a bit more personal..than in the big cities...but we have fewer meetings..and theres more travelling time involved...
But youre right...its great everywhere..
