90 Days!

Celebrated 90 days yesterday. My fourth time doing so. Sometimes I have to ask myself "what's different this time?" Have to make sure that I am on the right path and depend on others to let me know if I'm messing up. Talked to my sponsor yesterday and he's going to be really on me to get this fourth step done. I haven't started it yet. To me, I feel if I work all 12 steps I will become more spiritually fit and be that much more able to have quality sobriety and be able to help other alcoholics.

Just glad to be sober today. Hope you all have a nice Memorial Day.

For me 90 days was what it took to clean out my system, and begin easing off the physical cravings.  After that, constant maintenance was the only way to beat the psychological cravings.

Congrats on 90 days! And here's to many more, one day at a time!

YA HOO!!!!!!!

Does this mean when you come home from a 12 hour day, you have the option of going to bed, when you are exhausted, yes, right.

Good, Good Work, My friend,

Hugs, Toni

Excellent, Justin. A whole new "feel" inside, isn't it? Just to hear the phrase " I've got ninity days", and let it fill you up inside. And it only gets better, I'm so glad for you and your sharing. Hug, Wren

Congrats Justin! Listen to your sponsor and get on with the steps. I promise, as hard as it is, you won't regret it. Just don't drink today and do the next right thing.

Congrats. I can relate, I had 7 months yesterday, and it is the 4th time I've gotten up to 5-8 months in the past 3 years- So I am cautious, at times annoyed that I don't just have 3 continuous years, but thankful that I'm sober now- I do still like to talk about myself apparently :|

In any case, keep it up-

Joel

Went to the meeting and it was a speaker meeting. I waited until everyone had commented and said I had 90 days. Everyone clapped and then some lady asked me how I did it. I told her "I white knuckled it!" Got a good laugh, twas a joke and most people knew I was joking. I think I still have a three month coin. Might try to find it and carry it around with me. I used to have a 24 hour aa coin that I loved but I gave it to someone that really needed it. That was my fav. because it's a 24 hour program and I could always look at it and be reminded just where I'm supposed to be.

Good night everyone.
