Thanks Carmie! I actually found a Buddhist 12-Step site, and a 12 Step Buddhist yahoo group, and sent the links to Lehrbob, not sure if he got them. I have some Buddhist friends, non AA, and I do love the teachings, but I guess I apply them a bit differently since my HP is different. I have noticed that their teachings are so very in line with our steps tho, and that they're just part of "normal" life steps. Interesting isn't it? It's true, the 12 Steps are really the way to live. Geez, this is the fourth day of pouring rain, I'm ready to go bonkers.Hugs, Wren

Yeah, Buddhism is such a deep, rich belief system. I think what resonates with me the most is their philosophy of unquestioning compassion for all things living. My beliefs are very nature-based, so the parallels fall in closely for me personally. I so enjoy the diversity of thoughts and beliefs incompassed by AA as such a spiritual program. hugs, Wren
