Good evening all. It's a good day in the UK, sun is shining almost. Wind has stopped for now.
I got a great laugh today thanks to being sober. When I came back from my Honeymoon about 4 months ago I loaded all the empty bottles in the house into the car (My brother in law had had a party while we were away) to take to the bottle bank. Some never made it to the bin.
My boss saw the empties and assumed that I was drinking at work!
Therefore the disciplinary interviev!
Area manager arrived. Blah blah etc drinking while driving etc etc.......
My response was self preservation: If you think i'm an alcoholic, I'm happy to have a blood test and a liver function test if you are!
OH the power of sobriety!
