Morning Baloney....

Repair shop hu?  Ive got a mechanic...that keeps throwin tools from the sky..on a daily basis...

And I keep hearing this bellowing voice, that keeps repeating, "Theres an AA wrench for every nut."

"And Im still trying to find the one that fits.:)

I keep askin Him...how one goes about...fitting a square peg..in a round hole..

And  He keeps saying. "You Cant" and I keep saying.."You wanna bet?" (smile) "Hand me the hammer"

Must be an Alky personality thing..."I think the word is Control" :)

And the 11th step....?  I'm sober...but Im not sane.....

Tomorrow? Who knows .... Life is short....You enjoy the day...eh...

Dont drink...dont think..go to meetings....and stay away from salt water....

Thats all I know....:)

Hi Phil,

Well you hit the nail on the head, Control, not about other people, places and things,
Its an Inside Job, just adjusting to the word Acceptance, applying it to a very personal sense of dissapointment and Sadness.

I can't, He Can, and I am doing the Best I can do to.... to Let Him.

I have a little book called the Prayers of the Cosmos, the Aramaic translations of the Lords Prayer, and has a wonderful verse on "letting go, Heartbeat by Heartbeat", so that is where I am sitting today, in that verse, heartbeat, by heartbeat. He gives us life to live Abundently, not any way around that.

Tools falling from sky, yes, but I think a wrench smacked me in the head, no accidents in His World.

hugs to You, have a Great Friday.

Baloney

Toni

Hi Toni.

Hope you get out of the repair shop soon. Damn brain mechanics are too expensive these days!! It'll get better. That's one guarantee we have as long as we stay sober and do the next right thing. You're in my prayers.
