Hi Ther Dear,

Would you mind sending me this in email, I cannot open from this site. Thank You,
and they don't have a corresponding article on all the students that die, from Drinking Parties, where they try to out drink each other. I saw a program on this subject on TV a few weeks ago, some of it involved schools, that had Fraternities that required downing 1 quart of 80 proof, as part of an Initiation, many young people die from these Initiations, every year. The schools attempt to intercede, but do not have a very good success rate, as these are held in secret, part of the Code of Initiation.

So I just wanted to say that this poor young guy that died, was countered with maybe 30 to 40 deaths for College Initiations, and the drinking parties, due to Alcohol Poisioning. I do not remember the actual statistics, but they were very high every year, so those figures are just an estimate of what I recall.

I would like to read the Article, so if you can.

How are you feeling today, plans for that Meeting? Don't you have any meetings that are closer than those long trips you were referring to.

Hugs Rob, and I loved what John put down, the hours and seconds.

Have a Good Day,

Baloney

What an idiotic initiation... sounds about as healthy as David Blaine trying to hold his breath underwater until he suffocates himself-

Hi JB,

I saw an article on that guy you were writing about, I agree, a real Idiot, with the Record he keeps trying to top, he may just die in the pursuit.

The paper called him "Bubble Boy" my thinking was "Buddle Brain" might be a little more appropriate, haha. Amazing truth that People are just going to do whatever they do, even if it kills them. (sounds a lot like me when I would not surrender to this Simple Program, so no pointing fingers here). Just grateful that my own brand of that kind of thinking is over, thanks only to God. Well it is in this 24 hours.

Toni

Reminds me of a Stephen King quote from his book "On Writing" (A super good book by the way IMHO) . He said that when his family and friends insisted he face his chemical dependancies he told them that he needed a few days to think about it. Then he said that being an active alcoholic in that situation is a lot like a guy on top of a burning building telling the helicopter to come back in a while because he needs to think about it.

Another quote from the same book: Telling an alcoholic to just stop drinking is like telling a guy with the worst case of diahrea to just stop crapping. Stephen King has some great insight.

Sad that so many college students are surrounded by alcohol. Doesn't help a whole lot that our culture is one that promotes alcohol so much.
