"If we are asked for information or spiritual guidance, we should be sure that we have it before we try to give it away. We shouldn't assume that just because we are clean and sober anything we suggest is correct. There is nothing degrading about saying, "I don't know," or suggesting a more appropriate source of help.
It takes great courage to recognize and admit our limitations. When we ask for guidance in helping others, we should listen for that 'still small voice within' to tell us whether to go on or to hold back. Do I know my limitations?
God, make my directions so clear that I will be of real sevice to You and Your children.
