A 17-year-old driver lost control of his car on 267th Street, one mile west of Highway 17, near the city landfill.
The car went into a ditch, hit an approach and started to roll, throwing the driver. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

I really hate watching the news. So many bad things happen and it seems like that's all that the news is used for. I kind of choose to be ignorant of it rather than feel that pain. Someone came into a meeting and told us this story of how their friend got in his car to go to work and looked up and saw his 14 year old daughter hanging from the tree. Why does stuff like this happen? I know why, I just hate to look at this side of reality. All the pain and suffering in the world is a lot to carry on ones shoulders.
I got really close to this one guy at a half-way house and when he relapsed it sent me into a huge depression. He was my roommate and this hurt bad. He's sober now, I should give him a call, it's been a couple of years since I last saw him.
Everything happens for a reason. How do I choose to deal or react to it? That's the question!!!
