Toni,

I also have had to get some dental work done that I have put off while I was still drinking.  Just went this afternoon in fact!  I REALLY don't like the dentist.  Having to pay for it sucks too!

So good luck and I feel for you.....

Have a great night!

Jen

The thought of going to the dentist is scary for me. One look at my teeth, the ones I still have, and dentists ask me "ever done any drugs?" I'll probably have false teeth sooner or later. Now that's scary. I'm not a dentist so I don't really know what the best plan of action is. I just know I'm going to be on a long term payment plan with the dentist, even with insurance.

(((((((((((Toni)))))))))))))), I do hope your back feels better soon.  I too hate dentist, but made myself go a couple years back to get things done.  It took tons of shots to numb me,guess I was ammune to the stuff from all my drinking LOL.  I was afraid that the stuff would speed up my heart and I'd get a heart attack.  I was not afraid of the pain, just that.  I was being silly, but that's what us alcoholics do best if project.  Now looking back, it was the shots that hurt the most, the rest is just tugging and drilling.  Good luck and again feel better soon.

"The dentists chair"

Something like an electric chair...only worse...

Tied my arms and legs so I couldnt move...

Took these huge clamps and started jacking mouth open...

They jacked it open, so wide... you could drive a Mack truck through it...

Then they backed a mini drilling rig into the room..yu know the ones they drill water wells with?

One look..and I tried to scream...but the screams wouldnt come...all there was ...was this gurgling sound...

Then this guy entered the room with a pair of pliers big enough to pull out elephant teeth...

I passed out from fear....

When I woke up...they were all gone...

I was lying on a cot..beside the chair...

All there was.....was a small note..

Your bill is 200,000 dollars...

Take 2 aspirin..and call me in the morning...:)

You have a good day eh?

It only hurts for a little while.......

Oh by the way.....Your dentists use needles hu?
