hey everyone, not only new to the Message Board, but Sobriety also (coming up on 5 months) I'm going to be in SD April 21 & 22 and I'm looking for a support network during that time. I found some meetings on line, just wondering if anyone around hear lives in those parts. thanks
I live on the West Coast, But I just wanted to say, if you have never been in a new area, with meetings, the Visitors always get so much attention, made to feel "at home". That has always been my experience.
I have had some of the best contacts in this Program with a couple of people that wanted to talk after the meetings, long, good conversations, offered a ride back to Motel, which I did not need. But my own experience is that if I am going to be traveling, I always check out where the meetings are, in relation to where I will be staying, and alway REALLY look forward to being a Visitor. Just my little two cents here.
