As a member here on MIP, I've benefited so very much in make'n new friends and learn'n such a 'much deeper knowledge' of AA and it's principles, 'worldwide' ... I feel deeply indebted to John, MIP's owner, for start'n and maintain'n this web site ... he has done so mostly at his own expense ... and around this time of year, there are expenses that he must pay in order to keep this site up and running ... (he does NOT come around ever few months, as other sites do, and ask for help, donations) ... his first goal was, and is, to give us a forum for spread'n the AA message ...
John does not live an extravagant lifestyle, he's a hardwork'n laborer using a 'pressure sprayer' and like many of us, has a hard time make'n ends meet ... his big party this New Years' Eve ??? see his description:

(Netflix) until "the ball" drops.Bet I don't end up drunk doing stupid, or in jail having to ask someone if I can use the phone, or.... tomorrow having to ask any one what kind of night I had, or what I'm charged with. What a blessing being clean and sober is to someone like me. Celebrated 26 years of freedom this past week, and while it has been one hell of a journey, it didn't include any handcuffs, court dates, or pissing in someone's cup.

Great supportive post, Pappy. Like I said in another post, I am going to give what I am able to because this site has helped me bunches and I don't want to come looking for it one day and not be able to find it.
