I've e-mailed John to come and help straighten all of this out. I think it best for me to stand back now also. So I'm joining my friends in silence till it is a safer environment.

I have no problem with anyone. but Doll raises some important issues that need to be addressed,,, and until those issues are addressed,, some of us ,, a lot of us,,, are going to wait for John. He is the owner of the board. It's that simple. This is much bigger than simply one person's problems with another person.

and I'll repeat,,, I have no problems with anyone. The issues are much bigger than that. I understand that that is your opinion, and you are entitled to it. But do you think that your own personal opinion rules this board? You think it is as simple as you telling us what it is and what to do? no need for group conscience cuz you are it? simple as that? I am not the one pointing fingers. You just pointed yours at me. So is that a little hypocritical, or what? And now I know,, that anything that I say will be twisted and used,, and I will be silent. You two can make all the accusations you want,, and continue your attacks,, and make the board your own. I will not answer.
This is a we program,,, and not just a some of us program. Of course, if you drive everyone else out but you and Doll,, then you two are the 'we'. Now.. enuff. I am waiting for John.

Amanda, I've not really been following all the bollocks thats been going on. I don't know what the original arguement was. However I do agree with Phils post that anything personal should be PM'd

with all due respect, chris.. you admit that you haven't really been following and don't know what is going on. Before you comment then,, you should scroll back and study what has been going on for a few weeks. Your opinion is very welcome,, that is what 'group conscience' means,,, but first , please study the situation so that it is based on real knowledge of the situation.
I agree that personal stuff belongs in private. That is not why I called John. There have been some serious issues raised here about standards of behavior, adherance to AA principles, who is the boss and other things that are affecting the board in serious ways. Hopefully, trusting God, we will end up even better than before for the experience of being challenged, and growing.
I'm still waiting for John.

Well...all I can add here..is...there are no bosses on this board...
We arent here to create attention for ourselves..or play the Drama Queen...
And from feedback..Ive been getting...there arent any issues to be discussed...
This has been a wide open AA board...since it started...and has been very successful...re the people that participate..and the newcommer..
And it comes back to the same thing thats been said allready...
If you have a problem with someone...Take it outside the message board..
For some reason...you dont wish to do that...
I dont really wish a response to this reply...and hopefully..John will sort things out for you..as the rest of us get on with sharing our experience strength and hope...
