The latest news on how my apartment is coming along is that I have bought some different (not new) furniture, and given away some old.  It still seems to be that there are parallels in what is happening now with my apartment, and what is happening with my life.  Out with the old and useless, and in with the newer and more suitable, functional and practical. I put the polyurethane on another third of the floor, and now there is one third left. Boy, I really don't want to do that,,  really hard work that causes me pain, but it needs to be done..  no use leaving things half-done.  I must press on,, day by day.  Cleaning, polishing, sorting, changing. Life doesn't remaing the same, even if we don't do anything..  things get dusty and rusty.

I'm sitting on the floor now, just checking in to my most important e-mails and boards and checking news and weather.  I won't be on much for the next coupld of days. But you'll all be in my prayers.

God bless you,

love in recovery,

amanda

Amanada2u2 ---- sure can relate to your cleaning parallel.  I have recently done a lot of Out with the old and useless, and in with the newer and more suitable, functional and practical.   I have been working on this personally, physically, emotionally, mentally and literally.  The amount of garbage that was thrown out was unbelievable and it feels great to finally get rid of it.  Thanks for the great post.   Helen
