I'm so much better today than I was. I've gotten to as many meetings as work has allowed and I've talked to my sponsor 3 or 4 times. Amazing how those 2 things can turn me back around.

Yeah, Friday was a long time coming this week. The work week was stressful - people were being told their jobs wouldn't be there next year - and there was nothing that could be done. I approached the boss, after much prayer, in support of some of my colleagues, and was told politely to stay out of it. And then in a kind of strange twist - she told me I was being offered tenure. A great honor to be sure, thank you God and AA - but I can't help but feel for those who are being let go. It made the whole experience kind of bittersweet. Oh well... It's Saturday and I've got two days off.., Let's hit a meeting ... we could all use one.
