That iced tea sounds so good, I think I'll have to go make some! Glad to hear your team won.

I sure know about having to learn to take the cotton out of my ears and put it in my mouth!  I really need to practice on that yet!

BTW, as Phil mentioned in an earlier post, I don't see any problem with mentioning where we live.  I believe the "anonymous" part of this program is to protect those who are uncomfortable with the public hearing (or knowing) that they are alcoholic.  Some of us aren't bothered to let that fact out, but we also will respect (and protect) the rights of the others who are.  The only other reason I can think of not to want to tell anyone where I live, would be if somebody has a contract out on me!

Besides, there just aren't too many secrets in the small town where I live.  We're talking smaller than Smallville!  The local weekly newspaper posts the AA meeting places and times(Tuesdays and Thursdays), and just about anyone driving by knows what everyone else's vehicle looks like.  At AA meetings, it doesn't matter if you go only by first names, because members all see each other around town every day!

So anyway, here's where I live....

East of the sun, and west of the moon!  Ok, ok, just kidding

Rolla - Population:1300.  10 miles south and 20 miles east of a place on the Manitoba-North Dakota border known as the "International Peace Garden".  If you ever happen to be passing through northern North Dakota, it's worth seeing once.  It is such a peaceful place, that I have thought that it would make a great spot for an international AA Serenity Weekend.  Check their website, if you're interested in seeing what I mean... http://www.peacegarden.com/

Well, enough rambling!

Have a great sober day, Buckeye Bear!  You too Phil!
