People come into your life for a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime. When you know which one it is for a person, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may seem like a Godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered, and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

just wanted to let you know that your e-mail to my husband about you screwing me because i no longer wanted to write you or have any contact with you because of your controlling and manipulating ways.
the people on the board need to know that you are a dangerous man who cannot be trusted.
you talk a good game but you are a pathetic man who wants what he wants when he wants it...
by the way my husband asked me to stay with him for a while because of your strange behavior. which it is. you stalk people so for anyone on the board giving this man any information is not advised
you need help and maybe you should get help first before helping others.
I am dismayed, to say the least, to see a post like this pop up on this forum. Carlos (Ellen) if you feel this way about another forum member, have the dignity and composure to take the matter to e-mail rather than plaster such vitriol for all to see. Even if you feel justifiably wronged, your post casts a negative shadow upon You--not the person you are accusing of wrongdoing.
Just a reminder that this forum is for support in recovery--not a place for ad hominen attacks. Again, e-mails are a wonderful mode of communication to resolve personal differences.
i am in TOTAL agree with mikel......if a person has a beef.........DO IT IN PRIVATE.....not on the boards for the rest of us to see it and be offended............
phil, i for one appreciate your posts.....i LOVED your reply!!!!!! i wouldnt' have been so mature........hugs/ rosie
