I think it would help me greatly to give "Anonymously".......without getting found out. [We live in a small town!] I see folks who need this or that....right here at hometown level...but would like to do the good turn without the credit and remain anonymous. Any ideas?
That's always how I like to give. You can send a money order, you can sign it "anonymous". You can leave grocries when no ones home or have someone deliver what ever it is you want to give. You can send a gift certificate from a clothing store, hey , there are so many options. I'm sure others have great ideas.
Have you ever paid for someones meal in a resturant, that you didn't know.
I remember several years ago , I was having a very hard time financially and I opened my Bible one morning, and there was money in it. I thought back, the only way it could have gotten there was when I went to the restroom after church the previous Sunday, I left my Bible laying in the foyer, someone slipped it in there. I know God blessed them for what they did, even though I'll never know who it was.
3] But when thou dost alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doth. 4] That thy alms may be in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret will repay thee.

This is something my sponsor taught me early on...to learn what true gratitude is, do something for someone else without getting caught. Whether it is giving of material things or just a note in a mailbox, others need to know they are loved.
Gammy's ideas are about the same as what I would do...look around and see who needs what and the secret is between you and God.
