There has been some trouble finding people to chair the meetings (nominally Tuesday and Saturday); if anyone will volunteer for this I swear I will be there.  Otherwise I fear I'll end up chairing them myself, and I think the meetings would benefit from someone with more experience.  (I know I would at least! ;)

I am often on in the #alanonchat room, partly because if I sit in #aachat it's kind of exhausting dealing with the newbies that come in one after the other... and I also tend to ignore them (accidentally) when I'm talking to people in the other room.

I think if there were more regulars on there, it would be easier to deal with the newcomers.  I have trouble with my wrists so having to carry on a long conversation with someone can actually be painful.  (When I'm casually chatting with people I can wander off and take breaks if I need to.)

I'm not sure what to do about this though.  Nobody wants to hang out in there because no one is ever there, and no one is ever there because... well you see the problem.

I guess if you pop on look for me on #alanonchat (I'm "jmr" on there) and I'll join the other channel and we can talk.  That goes for everybody. 

Oh and I will see you Saturday at the meeting.
