I had one last night. I woke up in a sweat, absolutely panicked not knowing how to rectify the situation, then gradually realised I was fine and sober! It was a good reminder!
Yep! Remember those in early sobriety. Haven't had one in quite a while...... Remember waking up in a full blown panic that I'd relapsed. What a relief to know it was only a dream.....the good news, the longer we stay sober & work the program of AA, the dreams become fewer, farther between and then non existent for the most part.
(((hugs)))

Yes I had one last night too. Maybe we were in the same dream bar! I remember having dreams after I quit smoking that I had started again, I suppose this is the same deal.

Hey Ms. London! I kinda felt a little left out when I was first getting sober, because I hadn't had any drinking dreams. But, around 9 months I had them for almost a week straight. Man!!! I was so relieved when they stopped.
Anyway, I've had maybe 4 since then and I always talk about them with one of us. A sponsor once told me that she believed they were 1st Step dreams. A reminder of what it was like and could be. Some say they have great drinking dreams. I wonder if they just wake up too early, because mine always got into the insanity and unmanageablity drinking causes in my life.
Thanks Ms London any reminders of what got me here is a good thing!
