Well....It's good to be back and somewhat settled in to the new surroundings. I have been checking in as often as I have been able to from another computer but did not take the time to sign in. There have been some great discourses and very good reading. I have managed to get through over a month of unsettled craziness (moving) without even the THOUGHT of having a drink. THAT is truly a great sign for me that my sobriety is not in any grave danger right now...but I'll never let my guard down! So....it's good to be back, and I hope to be contributing some to the site very soon. Love you all and thanks again for all the well-wishes from the last post of mine...Tim

Wow!! Thank you all for the warm welcome home! Some names I haven't seen yet also..so a warm welcome to this site in return to you friendly akie newcomers!! Starting with Dean: We moved into Michelle's mom's home. Her Lupus condition is 20 yrs. in advance of Michelle's and she requires constant oxygen, doesn't get around very well, and has a 2500+ sq. ft. 3 br. home she can no longer tend to or afford to have tended to, but also refuses to leave. We hope that the situation works out well for all of us.
Carol: Great to be back and be able to reply to your lovely posts as desired!
Jen: Great to be back and exchanging thoughts. Re your comment: Thank you! I also recall reading something about a reluctance to caudal injections? Done by the RIGHT pain specialist, they are a saving grace! Talk to me more about you choice there please.
Nique and Lani: Good to see you here and hope sobriety is srving you well indeed!
Phil ol' buddy: Need I say more? How are the treatments going?
TenderheartsKS: Looking forward to hearing more about how it's done.
Danielle! Good to see you back after the hiatus. I think things were just starting to get a bit in a muddle with the living situation when you returned and sent a wonderful p.m. (if I recall correctly) that I've yet to respond to. Thanks for the consideration for the atheists out here, along with all the various and sundry "other" beliefs Dear One.
Jonijoni: Are you who I think you are? Baloney? Not that it matters. Glad to see that you were able to make it back to sanity without dying during your slip-up. Share some more of that long-term sobriety wisdom around here.
Zarathustra (Thus Spoke): I've caught some of your "sobriety sucks" postings while checking in from the other computer during my hiatus....You'll come around! My sailboat has been in C.I.H. for a dozen years and i often would day sail or even dinghy over to Ventura Harbor. Good food and shopping there.
Wanda: Hi there my friend. I remember when havoc was striking you in a pretty nasty way there for a good bit. I do hope all that has turned around and that life is treating you much better. You've paid your dues.
Well it's good to be back in contact with you all as I've already said. Dam...It's just like coming home from a vacation from which you need a vacation! Love to all...Tim

(((((Tim)))) Welcome back. I remember Bakersfield! I stepped on a yellow jacket there once. And it was hot. Very very hot. Glad you're settling in with the move. Moves are freakin' traumatic for me. I can never find things afterwards. Enjoy your holiday time, and let me know how things are going. love, chris
