Man oh man oh man! I love being sober..... Even though my physical health is not that great, things couldn't be better right now. Got my employee evaluation last week. 1st time ever getting straight A's across the board AND I still have 3 sick days left for the year! Always before, we got our sick time on Jan. 1 and mine was used up by March. Then from April to December they wondered just how many grandmothers I had and how many times each of them could die. LOL
John came home yesterday, a week early. Called me an hour outside of home and reminded me the fair was in town and wanted to take me. We had a blast! Couldn't ride anything, but just walking around and looking at all the lights and eating junk food till I almost puked was awesome. I missed him so much. We haven't decided where our relationship is but he suggested we take it 'one day at a time'. I'm getting pretty good at that some days, so I took him up on it. We'll see. The obsessive compulsive part of this alkie will rear her ugly head at some point I'm sure.
Bone scan came back with "nothing alarming" which means no cancer. Had about a gallon of blood drawn, checking sedrate and ruling out things like Lupus (it runs in my family and I have some symptoms). Get those results tomorrow afternoon along with the details of the scan. Pain has been better this past week. That made the top of my 'grateful' list .......
Had several awesome f2f this past week. And got to spend some time with my new sponsor. I am just crazy about her.

Hi Jen, RAH! RAH! RAH! (Now if Lisa/chickenlittle can get her health problems straightened out.) It is soooo good to hear that you are doing well. Yeap, sobriety brings blessings in many ways. Got a chuckle out of the sick leave thing....... Had worked the night shift at one of my jobs. ICK!!! Earned 4hrs every paycheck. Seemed only to gain 3 days and then had to take a break. Got "called in on the carpet" once. Very young and the super was like reckoning with Satan himself ...... scared the hell of me so I had to stop that little routine. LOL Truly happy for you, Wanda
