Hey everyone, Well, we'll see if this posts... having problems with my internet, really bad connection...
I got moved into my house I'm renting from my dad! It's pretty nice, I didn't get to see it until I moved in today. A few problems, like my cell phone doesn't work inside the house... and my internet barely works here.... but my home phone will be connected soon at least, and I'll figure out what I'm gonna switch to for internet... it's probably gonna wind up being dial up though, but that'll be better than this.
My dog is soooo happy, she's been runnin around and wanting to play.... she knows this is home Oh, and my neighbor has a rottie, maybe they'll get to play together some... definitely gonna have to pen up my chickens when I get them.... don't want the rottie killing them all lol but there's plenty of room for a coop and a good size pen...
I'll be job hunting real soon... hoping to find some part time work... there's a bigger town 7 miles south of here, looks like I shouldn't have a problem finding a job there... we'll see...
Gonna figure out what the closest central office is here, and figure out when and where meetings are around here.... it'll be all small town meetings... there's not a city very close by at all... think Memphis would still be the closest city, and that's about 2 hours away. But I like the small town meetings... there were a few I went to in Nebraska when I didn't want to drive into Lincoln.
I've been busy most the day cleaning and unpacking.... need to get some sleep... *yawn* Just wanted to let y'all know what's goin on...
I was just thinking about you yesterday and wondering how things were going for you. Your house sounds as if it will keep you busy for a few days having just moved in, but it sounds terrific. And, you must be pleased that your dog loves it there. I wonder when your chickens will be joining you. It sounds perfect, Lisa.
I hope that you'll be able to get some meetings soon as you have a lot going on. And, good luck with the job hunting. You're in my thoughts.
