A celebration...

Today is a celebration of love, laughter, life, tears, joy, and an incredible journey in recovery. It is by far the most important thing I have ever done, and continue to do, a day at a time.

Today, I celebrate 17 years of sobriety.

Without God's goodness, a LOT of help from my friends in the rooms of AA, and a burning desire to face life on life's terms without alcohol, or any mind-altering substance for that matter, I surely would not be posting this today.
