first, little update... found out more than likely my guinea was low on protien, they apparently need more protien than chickens... so went out this morning and got starter feed again, am giving him straight starter feed, and mixed some in with the layer feed out in the barn for the others... keeping an eye on him, hopefully he'll be alright... also got the electrolyte mix for his and the chicks' water.
Here's my guinea... isn't he beautiful?? I really don't understand people who say guineas are ugly... I think they really are beautiful birds... but them I'm biased... lol
Here's the chicks I brought in... not a great pic though...
And some better pics of the kittens...
Patches, my little babygirl... :)
Need to get some new pics of the rest of the critters outside... oh, and we had some lambs born yesterday! 2 adorable white ones :)
My Mom told me Guineas are better then a watch dog (she grew up on a farm), if anyone enters the yard they'll let everyone know. That's a pretty little patch tabby (tortie or torbie) My Samantha is a torbie and has a orange blaze down her nose. In cat show Torbies, Tortoise Shells and Calico's have their own category call party colors, They're the party girls of the cat world. LOL. Bob.
