.... hello family with a great big hug

my nieces's daddy died this week, he would have been 42 this year.
he was drunk...and home alone...we believe he had an asthma attack..they say that an asthma attack can go into cardiac arrest. my niece is 19 years old and has been named beneficiery. All decisions rest on her. He didn't live in the same city as her so she and my sister have gone to his home today to clean it out. He has pictures of her everywhere...he loved her so much. He had a long hard history of drinking. He died drinking sambuca and smoking pot. Alcoholism is such a lonely disease.
I wish to ask two things of you today.
please pray

for those that suffer in and out of the program
and for our children

and please...please... don't drink..just for today

Hi,

I am so truly sorry for your niece's loss, and for your whole family. Alcoholism is such an evil disease and has no respect for anything or anyone.

I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers. And, for today I haven't and won't take a drink.

Take care of yourself and your loved ones,

Carol

I'm sorry your niece lost her Dad at such a young age. 19's still a baby I think whether they were close or not & especially to have to have your 20s/30s & whatever age without. I can only imagine the grief & implications given that both mine still live. I hope her & your sister can find comfort with each other while they grieve. I hope you're ok. I'm sorry he lost his life. It's such a shame. I'm sorry for their loss & your sadness too. Hugs with you. Thinking of you at this sad time. Love & prayers, Danielle x

Sending love and prayers to you, your niece and entire family. Far too many lives affected
by alcohol each day throughout the world. How truly sad. Wanda
