I'm down in Mississippi (basically in Memphis TN)... got here last night around 7:30 or so, spent last night at my dad's and am at my mom's now...
Went to a meeting at my homegroup down here, it was a pretty small meeting compared to what it usually is, lots of new people I didn't know, but some old faces I was glad to see... They moved further out from where they were and maybe that cut down the members some, I dunno. I wound up staying there an hour after the meeting talking with a friend, I've missed him a lot... he's so crazy lol He's the one that told me before I moved that I needed to take a 1 month chip and set it on the table at the meetings in Nebraska, and pretend I only have a month and start throwing around that AA lingo and make them all wonder... lol He also likes to use the 12 steps illustrated pamphlet for topics when chairing meetings... lol
Found out my old sponsor down here was speaking at a 10pm meeting tonight, but, I needed to get back to my mom's considering she was only off today and tomorrow while I'm in town.
Met with my ex for a quick dinner after the meeting... it wasn't too bad... he and I are back on sorta friendly terms... but... not talking quite as much as we were for awhile there.
Caught my roommate online for a little bit awhile ago... I miss him so much already and I've only been gone 1 full day... He wants to come down here this fall with me... not sure how that'll go with my family... they didn't seem to want him to come when I thought he might come this time... but... am hoping to plan a camping trip over in arkansas for us this fall and we could combine it with a trip here to visit family... we'll see...
Anyway, everything's going good... my roommate has been asking if my family notices the difference in me... I'm so different from when I moved up there in January... but... no one's said anything, but the people at my homegroup here noticed...
Well... gonna go in the chatroom I go to for a bit... and try to get sum sleep... having some problems with my back... it woke me up last night, and is hurting now... hopefully I can sleep good tonight despite it...
