Much has been written about "The Inner Child" especially in the roaring 90s.

I'm very much in touch with my inner child.  My inner child is a selfish, indulgent, irresponsible, lazy, rip-roaring brat who is only sober by the grace of God.

I'm still looking for my Inner Adult.  I'll keep you posted...
