Yeah.  I remember saying that a couple of years ago, and getting a lot of flack for it. It's a simple statement,,  that we are learning to love others, and ourselves.  It's harder to do.  We get into the same old question - what is love?  Is the kind of love we are talking about here just warm and fuzzy feelings?  Is it a codependent attachment and addiction to another person?  Is it the attitude of selfishness that only cares about my recovery while leaving others to sink or swim?  And even just thinking about how to love myself, what does that mean?  Maybe we are more ready to think about that now?
