Hey, just a quick update, remember the girl who wanted to end her life, who was depressed, bla bla bla. Because her recovering alcoholic friend could not give her love in return.....lol
Well guess what.. That girl who was scared of everything, heights, flying, people, life... Has just had a weeks holiday in France....
Went on a plane, went up a mountain in a cable car, mixed socially with all the locals..Trust came in here somewhere, when I was not aware of it....I had an awesome time, I lost sooooo many fears...."Feel the fear and do it anyway", well I done that up at 58000 ft....lol
Also I have just opened up a f2f group, Last night was my first meeting..I got 6 people. And we had a great meeting...This is the direction my HP..(oh by the way I found him in France)..lol is guiding me in....
I have received so much from al-anon and the fellowship, I am now ready to live my life for ME...And if I can return what I'm learning in the programme, I will give it my best shot....
Just wanted to post....let you nutjobs know how I'm doing...lol
And maybe If a new member to AA sees this, It might give them some hope they will be desperately needing.
This fellow nutjob and recoving alkie would like to thank you for reminding me there is hope, and that anything is possible with the guidance of our HP!!!!!!!

Thanks for the update and thanks, too, for sharing those pics. I love France, but it has been a long time since I last went. I am so glad that you had a super holiday.
Yes, the twelve step program is a miracle and I am just so thankful and grateful to have it in my life. I was with about a dozen AA friends of mine last night at a friend's house and we couldn't praise this wonderful program of recovery enough! It really does work.
