Hi guys. Please take a bit of time today and pray for Wanda. She got home from taking an elderly neighbor in for a blood test, and her home was burnt to the ground. Thank God her little dogs were with her. She has lost everything material and is still in shock right now. I know this community will help her get back on her feet--she had no renter's insurance--and her kids are bringing her a trailer to live in on either our property or across the way. In the meantime, she's trying to stay here in Brinnon. All good thoughts would be so appreciated. Thanks, Chris

I will keep wandajf in my prayers and glad that she is alright, and very glad to know that she has friends like you close by to help out. Hope all works out to help get her back on her feet.
My prayers are with her in her time of need and will continue, Hugs to you both.
Thank you Tina, Phil and Carol. I will pass your words on. As I said, this community (Brinnon) pulls together, and Wanda is very very active in volunteer work, work with seniors, always helping others, so I know there will be a great deal of support for her. She does not want to leave Brinnon, and Brinnon doesn't want to lose her, either. So here is where a small town will really be working together. Since she's right across the road for a few days, and has her daughter there now, there are enough of us to come up with ideas and support for her. Again, thanks, I know she will appreciate it. She'll be checking her email on my computer tomorrow, if anyone wants to drop a line...hugs, Chris

Good and kind thoughts coming to Oregon for Wanda. When I first read the post from you I immediately reflected on your post below this (the quotes have been printed) and wonder what cleverly disguised opportunity lies in this for Wanda. Wanda- Sorry to hear about the loss and I am certain that you are surrounded by good people and helping hands. I hope recovery from the tragedy is swift. I know it sounds odd to think of something good here but I am thankful that it did not occur during the middle of the night while you were sound asleep. Best wishes to you...Tim

Sending my mental hugs and support your way Wanda.
(Thanks Wren, for posting.)
