I find IF ITS NOT IN THE BOOK IT AINT AA.

for example someone advised me as if he were a Dr before xmas and told me to come off a tablet i was taking. I nearly TOOK MY OWN LIFE beware of Dr aa!!

Messages in the rooms I've been to are along the lines of 'take AA' for your alcohol problem & if you have any other issues take care of them in the appropriate ways as advised elsewhere i.e. if you're on meds as specified by your GP or similar professional then to follow these instructions until required otherwise. There are people at many different levels of wellness & recovery in AA so tis always best to double check these things & not take too much at face value. Besides this, suggestions are usually sound from those who are experienced in the Steps as far as staying sober is concerned. I'm glad you made it, Rob.
