Thursday will be 6 months!  Will definitely get to a meeting then to get my chip...

I really need to be getting to more meetings, I can feel myself starting to slip a little lately...  not wanting to drink or anything, honestly overall doing ok...  just been really quiet and subdued lately...  not much motivation...  but I think the snow and cold weather is doing that to me.  We got busy cleaning last night and today, got stuff ready for the auction and took it out there today.  That was my first time at an auction, bought a wardrobe for $6 to hang my clothes in, now we gotta clean up and make room for it.

I'm adjusting to farm life pretty well...  I love taking care of the chickens, feed them twice a day and collect the eggs...  keeping the dishes done (no dishwasher) and learning to cook a little...  we've got a friend that's a gourmet cook, she brings us food all the time, so we really don't have to cook all that much, but I learned how to fry bacon and eggs so I can fix breakfast for us.

Got a preliminary copy of the divorce papers in my email today to look over...  looks like I need to call legal aid and get my own lawyer now...  my ex put in the papers that he's not responsible for any debt accrued in the marriage because the debt's in my name...  if I get my own lawyer I can get half that debt paid for by him...  especially considering I paid off all his debt when we got married, and I have proof of that.  So I'll be calling legal aid tomorrow.

Anyway, it's late, need to get to bed...  hope everyone has a great, clean and sober, 24.

Awww yes...The old rubber boots on the farm trick...:)

The aroma of chicken poo....fresh air...nothing like it...

Riding a 24 year old horse to round up 30 cows at milking time...the cows could move faster then the horse..

Then...there was the little house, behind the house....that ones butt could stick to, at 3am in the middle of winter...

The baby piggys in a cardboard box....keeping warm, behind the wood stove...in the house..

The walking a mile to school each day, to hook up with 24 other students...and a teacher that carried a big stick...

Stealing home made beers from my old man....drinking half the bottle, and filling them back up with water...

Those were the days........

Congrats on 6 months ehhh.:)

LoL Phil, it's not that rough out here.  Just dogs and cats and chickens...  although when it warms up a little you do have to deal with the smell of cow manure from neighboring farms    Got some more snow today, may still be snowing now, not sure, s'posed to get 2-4 inches tonight.

I've surprised my boyfriend by my morning routine I've gotten into  lol  he's always lazy in the morning, feeds the chickens when he feels like it...  I get up, take the dogs out, come in and get water and whatever scraps there are and take care of the chickens, come back in and make coffee, have some coffee, then cook breakfast...  lol  I didn't used to be such a morning person...  but I enjoy having things to do like that, it makes me feel good.  My boyfriend's back's been giving him problems, plus there's the fact that he's only got one leg and can't put his fake leg on when his back hurts...  so he's worried I'm thinkin he's being lazy when he asks me to do stuff for him...  it doesn't bother me, he does as much work as I do around here, just I do the legwork.

We've been cleanin out stuff for the next auction, making a lot of headway.  my bf had so many old computers here, I've been taking care of cleaning them off and gettin them ready to sell, working on rebuilding his tomorrow, combining parts from 2 of them to get him a better 'puter.  And teachin him about computers while we're workin on it.

Anyway, time to go let the dogs out, have my last cig of the night, and get to bed.
