do you ever get the impression that people ignore you if your having a bad day? When I was doing well and chatty a certain person would talk to me, just recently I have not done very well and make a mistake in a presentation at college this person is being off with me now, I am trying to just relax with it to be honest.
Yeah... I have the opposite trouble. When the chatting starts, I've found digging in my nose or something takes the wind out their sails. With women folk anyway. Men just look at me funny...and keep right on yacking. Maybe I should start digging in their nose. Or offering a real lunker when I dig one out. After I pick the nose hairs out of course, that would be downright rude. Seriously though, Robert. Try listening and conjuring up some halfway genuine interest in the people around you. They will recipocate.
Hey Robert, old bean.... as George Harrison once sang, 'all things must pass'. Focus on others around you who you don't feel the current level of discomfort being around right now. That other person may just be feeling off themselves, and will likely come around later on.
And...uh, Ryan, your post reminds me of a thread on this board many months ago involving nostril noodling nose nugget nabbers.... I gotta advise you not to be doing that while you are driving, as you may suddenly have to hit the breaks. And, according to 9 out 10 specialists on nostri-digital diggeritis, if you suddenly shove in past the second joint, symptoms will include (but not be limited to): your eyes will bulge, your ears will pop, and then you'll fart.
Dad taught me many wise things as a child, and mom got me out of the trouble these things caused at school. One thing comes back, down through the years- "Son, you can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose. But you shouldn't pick your friend's nose."
