Just wanted to drop in and say hello to my sober MIP family! Life is good today. It's kind of weird. I went from being a single recovering alchy to having a girlfriend with three kids. We're talking about getting a place together in March. Things just keep getting more and more interesting being sober. I've been going to a few different meetings lately just to change things up. It's kind of refreshing.
Anyways, I just really wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone. We've got this Valentine's dance for the local A.A. club and they're going to have me D.J. it because I had done the New Years dance and people liked it.
Oh well, I'm drawing a blank. I'm sick, my eye has been bloodshot for three days and I haven't been to work in two days. Doctors orders but I'm sure as heck anxious to get back to work tomorrow. Busy for this messed up drunk is always good!
Kind of a mixed bag, eh? such is life, as the good and bad come at the same time. I'm glad to hear of your success as DJ and demand for an encore. I hope that you get well pronto. I'm glad you had time to check in with us. You are a special person to me.
