Oh, Phil! :) There is a strategy for hugging a woman safely--shoulders to shoulders, and keep your abdomen and chest pulled a little distance away. How silly I am for giving a hug instrution.
Now wait just a minute! Phil here is talking about giving a woman a REAl hug, not the "make believe" one where you kick your abdomen back and don't softly squash everything that comes between you. The real one is much, much better...it's....it's.....more real. What is wrong with that??? I think Phil has the right idea( sorry Laura et al)...Tim

Tim, I wasn't criticizing Phil--His comment actually made me chuckle (which I thnk was appropriate because he put smiely faces in his post). I actually think the kind of hug I described can be real if given with a certain intention, but I think I understand what you mean--a real hug without having to think about the mechanics of it.
That aside, Tina, I forgot to mention a thanks to you for the nice hug thoughts. Hugs are great!
Some would call in instinct out a control, but this is a true genuine hug for all. Depends what some would call a hug, and what others would consider genuine.
