4/6/83 (Preview) Drank 4/1/83 through 4/3/83. Largely in a blackout, including driving w/my daughter in the car. Came to on the bathroom floor, puke in my hair, with my 10 year old asking me if she should fix us TV dinners. Hungover and too weak to drive until 4/6. Went to a meeting then, picked up a white chip....again. ...	leeu	15	522	Apr 11, 2012 by vixen
Change (Preview) I was just sitting here pondering life the universe and everything in it. Next month is me bellybutton birthday and around this time I do a lot of reflecting on the year. I worked in a recovery house for a number of years and the work is stressful. I think being in recovery is an asset in that type of work but...	Wolfie55	4	477	Apr 11, 2012 by Mr_David
Bravery (Preview) Standing up for myself, and asking for common decensy is something I would have never done in my past life. I did that last night, and it was amazing. It felt so unreal at the same time. As I take these baby steps forward, I sometimes feel like a person walking on stilts, but with one normal leg, and one s...	justadrunk	7	536	Apr 11, 2012 by pinkchip

I stayed strong and just let the urges pass. I'm proud to say that I didn't allow myself to indulge. Hope everyone is doing well with there journey! We can all do this!	babyblueeyes30	4	445	Apr 10, 2012 by Wolfie55
Thumpity thump thump... (Preview) Happy Easter all you big book thumpers! Making fresh blueberry drizzle from berries hand picked last fall, to go over my extra thick cheese cake with crust made from all those peices of animal crackers and teddy grahms that get crushed at the bottom of the bag and my kids wont eat. I'm so grateful to be s...	justadrunk	5	580	Apr 10, 2012 by Mike B.

I do know I want a drink but for some reason I desided not too today, two days in a row now, a record for me! Been dr...	SamMelton	16	997	Apr 10, 2012 by Wolfie55

Just an update (Preview) Hi Everyone, As several of you know from a previous writing, I was truly struggling with anxiety attacks. Well, they have subsided and I'm pretty much at normal operating tempature these days. Without a doubt it was one of the most scary things I've experienced in sobriety. Alot of the anxiety gave w...
