To me it feels like living with alcohol addiction - surrendering to it - and the calm of recovery. I listened to it laying on the floor in the middle of the room with my surround sound on my freshman year in college. It was one of the first times I drank and felt music differ...	justadrunk	2	473	Oct 27, 2012 by Mr_David
Peanuts (Preview) I'm the farthest away from being humble. At least I can see it. At least there is a direction. At least I can ask Him for help today, so that's nice. That's still progress for me. Thanks for hangin in there with me, for the support, and for never giving up.	justadrunk	5	409	Oct 27, 2012 by Mr_David
Daily Reflections ~ Global Sharing & 24hrs a Day (Preview) The only thing that matters is that he is an alcoholic who has found a key to sobriety. Wow! It's a jungle out there!! (Preview) I am not supposed to worship the people, pomp, things, money, the world, the Big Book, even AA. I am only to worship God and Truth. So keeping that in mind, it's a jungle out there! And it depends on where I go, too. Sometimes I have to be really gentle with myself and put myself in places where people are mor...	odat	9	551	Oct 27, 2012 by odat

Inevitable Return (Preview) Good morning, everyone. I woke up today and had a revelation that probably most people here already know. This is: the reality that alcohol's damage is caused by much more than just what happens when we are actually drunk. I never really understood this until very recently. When I was younger, I use... Obsession With Trust (Preview) I used to be obsessed with trust. Seems like people were always letting me down, and I was always seeking someone totally trustworthy. Whenever I trusted I got hurt. ISMS (Preview) When I first came to AA, I thought discussion of "Ism's" was about the stupidest and cheesiest things I'd heard. I thought it was some made up bullcrap from people who had gotten sober but were still looking for more stuff to harp on and "self-improve" on. I really could not gra...	pinkchip	17	7127	Oct 26, 2012 by Pythonpappy
