I thought Friday at noon, maybe ten people... there were over forty people there for sure. It was a womens meeting. When the chair asked if there were any newcomers I didn't put my hand up until the last...	RubyTues	13	678	Dec 2, 2012 by Zoomtopz
Releasing (Preview) I must slowly learn to lose control, to let go the petals when it is time...learn step by softly-treading step, that what I am, what we are, is the Power to move and be moved, to change and be changed. ~ Linda Roach Letting go doesn't mean releasing our grip on life and falling into the abyss below. This is why we're sometimes turned off by people who seek to overwhelm us with charm. It's also why we can sometimes be drawn to people who are quiet and unassuming. However it works, there is a powerful message in one...	Pythonpappy	2	350	Dec 2, 2012 by Mr_David

When given the choice.... (Preview) One topic that came up in today's meeting for me was about what different folks did when given ultimatums about their alcoholism. It was pretty comical to all of us since everyone in the room was/is in recovery but in reality, it's sad and kind of scary. This came about from a story in the Come to Believe...	pinkchip	14	725	Dec 2, 2012 by justadrunk
Liquor whore (Preview) I went to get coffee today and inside this coffee shop is also fancy liquor and other novelty items - kind of a hippie store/liquor mart/hang out type thing. Anyway - I've gone there many times for coffee - and many more times for liquor. They get all this really trendy stuff that no one's heard of - so no...	justadrunk	10	1192	Dec 2, 2012 by Pythonpappy
