howdy, K. Glad you came here. If you need someone to talk to, well, you came to the right place. (Well, not really TALK, but communicate via wireless telegram).

you know,,you said "I just want to enjoy life". Thats me, in a nutshell. Matter of fact, the day I quit drinking, (a little over 2 years ago), I wrote the words "ENJOY LIFE!" on a little piece of paper, and pinned it up above my bed. It's still there.

When I quit drinking, I took the attitude of getting my life back, and enjoying it. I didn't want to get into the mentality of feeling like I was losing a great thing, by saying adios to alcohol.

And you know what? I DO enjoy life now. aA whole lot.

As far as giving back, well,,if you're going to meetings, then, you're giving back. Just being there to help anybody struggling is giving back.

Welcome to MIP K, ...

You'r not the only one to have problems with 'perfection' ... that has been a thorn in the side of many of us ... but most of us have learned to deal with it by work'n and live'n the 12 steps ... if you're experiencing any kind of personal difficulties with life in general, you're welcome to share that here with us ... chances are good that someone here has been through the same things ... our whole purpose in be'n here is to help each other ...

Love ya and God Bless,
Pappy
